The Tragedy of World War l

The tragedy of World War l was that Muslims were dying for Europeans in their wars on all sides. Muslims dying for the British, Muslims dying for the French, Muslims dying for the Russians and Ottomans dying for the Germans who they had unnecessarily allied with. All the Muslims were just pawns in a war between Europeans.

So if you want to remember the World Wars remember how much death and destruction the two World Wars caused; the causes that were ultimately behind them, and how we can raise humanity to a better standard of conduct and politics than imperialism and nationalism, so as never to cause so much suffering to mankind again.

The world wars were a demonstration of the capacity of man for mass violence and destruction for the sake of economic and political goals, devoid of a higher purpose.
