On Thanksgiving Day in the USA . People of justice should remember the native Americans and the crimes of the European invaders and “settlers” against them. It was here that the method for all “settler” colonialism was laid, including that of European Jews in Palestine.

1. Treat the land as if nobody had lived there for centuries and as if Europeans had discovered it, just because native Americans roamed and did not settle in one part.
2. Deny the natives people rights of ownership and prevent them from owning their own land, treating unsettled land as “discovered” and under the ownership of the Europeans as “discoverers” rather than belonging to the natives.
3. Make treaties with them when they resist your attempts to steal their lands and then break them once you have pacified them.
The principles of European settler colonialism land law were established in a USA case Johnson v. M’Instosh in 1823 in the Supreme Court.
1. The Court decided that individuals could not purchase land from Native Americans because Native Americans held only a right of occupancy over their lands, not a right of ownership.
2. The Court stated that ownership of unclaimed land resided with the (white) “discoverer” of the land.
3. Since the Court stripped Native Americans of ownership over the land, it determined that the United States was the discoverer of the land and, therefore, was the only entity that could validly sell or give away land.

Recognise this in Palestine ?

The native Americans used to say that every agreement they ever made with the “White Man” they broke. Some 500 treaties were violated by them in some way.
In this way as well as genocide Native American Indians lost nearly all their land and ended up on a few “reservations”.
